If there’s one thing that UnLtd strives to bring into the world, it’s hope. Our passion for helping in the most selfless, agenda-free way is built on first-hand experience.
As a child, our founder Kerry McCabe, experienced many of the specific issues we’re fighting to protect children and young people from today. From growing up in a brutal childhood environment and losing his father to suicide, to seeing violence and abuse up close at a school for disadvantaged boys. It was a chance encounter with one caring and compassionate adult that changed everything. Hope. That man saw beyond the behaviour of a damaged teenager. He showed an interest with no agenda, gave that teenager an inkling of self-belief, of hope for a better future. Which is exactly UnLtd’s purpose - to give hope and belief to precious young souls in our community who need us more now than ever.

Measuring Our Impact

We partner with 22 charities across Australia, each doing incredible work in different ways.
To measure our contribution, we focus on the value of the partnerships we create, using a standardised calculation based on hours contributed, donated media, and direct donations linked to our work.
Thanks to the strength of our partnerships and over 20 years’ experience, every $1 donated to us generates $26.40 in social impact value.
And this impact continues to grow. Over the past seven years, it’s increased from $10 million to $95 million — an almost tenfold rise.
Alongside this, we measure the effectiveness of our larger advocacy campaigns through pre- and post-campaign research, ensuring we are driving change in awareness, public perception, and action.

Our team have been handpicked for their experience and skills in creating, managing  and navigating the complexities of these types of programmes. Unusually, this means that instead of coming from charity backgrounds, the team is largely drawn from the sector we’re seeking support from – the marketing, media and creative industries.
